Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Procure-to-Pay team in Dallas to manage end-to-end AP processes, ensure accuracy and compliance, and drive improvements in invoice workflows. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, and the business to resolve complex issues and support platform modernization.

The role requires a graduate degree with 2–3+ years in P2P or AP, a strong control mindset, and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with 2-3+ years of experience in Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, or related finance operations.
• Strong control mindset, attention to detail, and understanding of risk, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize deadlines, and operate in time-sensitive environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across functions and seniority levels.
• Demonstrated stakeholder and vendor management with client-service focus.
• Comfort with system-driven environments: queues, workflows, reconciliations, reporting.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
• Willingness to support multiple time zones and peak periods (month-end).
• Experience with ERP or invoice workflow platforms (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, ServiceNow).
• Interest in data, automation, and technology to improve efficiency and controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute invoice intake, validation, coding, approvals, and workflow routing per firm policies and audit standards.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; resolve issues with vendors and stakeholders.
• Manage invoice exceptions (duplicates, PO mismatches, tax issues) with root-cause mindset.
• Validate charges against contracts, POs, rate cards, and inventory systems (telecom, market data).
• Process time-sensitive vendor, regulator, and tax authority payments with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support supplier enablement and vendor master activities (Ariba onboarding, data quality controls).
• Provide administration and guidance for invoice workflow tools and e-billing platforms.
