Job summary

KALCON seeks a Mid to Senior level Project Manager to provide Owner Representation on the construction of a hyperscale data center campus in Afton, TX. You will lead scheduling, cost control, QA/QC, safety, and field coordination across base build and tenant fit-out.

The role requires 7–10 years in design or construction, a CM or engineering degree, and proficiency with MS Office and Project. You will manage GMP buyouts, pay apps, and weekly OAC minutes, interfacing with senior management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or applicable trade/superintendent experience.
• 7–10 years of experience in design or construction of projects, with labs, semiconductor, data center, or critical facility experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for senior management, service providers, workers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Review CM monthly forecast and attend weekly CPM schedule reviews.
• Attend multiple CM/subcontractor detailed planning meetings and manage OFCI equipment scheduling.
• Coordinate vendor start-up, commissioning schedules and IT/roofting/geotech/inspector schedules.
• Manage customer fitout schedules and phase turnover for base build and tenant.
• Review GMP buyouts, provide detailed analysis and cost-avoidance ideas.
• Approve change orders and oversee pay applications.
• Oversee QA/QC, safety, and field coordination; track progress and reporting.
• Manage design coordination and customer fit-out integration; validate design costs.
• Oversee permit process and AHJ inspections and occupancy certificates.
• Lead weekly OAC meetings, prepare weekly project reports, and manage closeout processes.
