Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that all project objectives are met.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the owner and the project team, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and devise strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and designs, ensuring they align with the owner's vision and requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, provide regular project updates, and maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved.
  • Implement quality control procedures and ensure the highest standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.
  • Resolve disputes and conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
