Job summary

NuAxis Innovations is seeking a Senior OutSystems Developer to lead enterprise-grade OutSystems applications, integrations, and platform architectures. You will set factory standards and govern reusable component libraries to ensure scalable solutions.

You will architect modules, design integrations, enforce governance using LifeTime, and mentor mid-level developers while optimizing performance and reducing technical debt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Software Eng/IT or related field, with 2 years substituted for 1 year of education.
• 5–8 years of OutSystems development experience, incl. 2+ years in architecture/lead roles.
• OutSystems Certified Professional Developer or Advanced Developer is required.
• Obtainable certifications: OutSystems Tech Lead or Solution Architect within 180 days of hire.
• Preferred: OutSystems Platform Specialist; AWS/Azure associate certs.
• OutSystems Service Studio and Integration Studio; reactive web/mobile development; REST/SOAP; data modeling; Architecture Canvas; performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Architect OutSystems modules, service layers, and reusable libraries.
• Design and implement integrations with external systems, databases, and APIs.
• Establish architecture governance using LifeTime and Architecture Dashboard.
• Lead code reviews, promote secure development practices, and mentor mid-level developers.

Job Summary:

Leads development of enterprise-grade OutSystems applications, integrations, and platform architectures. Sets factory standards and governs reusable component libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect OutSystems application modules, service layers, and reusable component libraries.
• Design and implement integrations with external systems, databases, and APIs.
• Establish architecture and lifecycle governance using Architecture Dashboard and LifeTime.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and technical debt posture.
• Lead code review, secure development practices, and mentoring of mid-level developers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Two (2) years of specialized experience may substitute for one (1) year of the academic requirement.
• Minimum Experience: Five (5) to eight (8) years of OutSystems development experience, including at least two (2) years in an architecture or technical lead capacity.
• Certifications — Required: OutSystems Certified Professional Developer or Advanced Developer.
• Certifications — Obtainable After Hire: OutSystems Certified Tech Lead or Solution Architect, within 180 days of assignment.
• Certifications — Preferred: OutSystems Certified Platform Specialist; AWS or Azure associate-level certification.
• Required Skills: OutSystems Service Studio and Integration Studio; reactive web and mobile development; REST and SOAP integration; data modeling; Architecture Canvas; performance optimization.
• Preferred Skills: OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC); federal environments; accessibility-compliant UI patterns.
