Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Outsourcing Specialist to manage outsourced development activities, coordinating with internal project teams and external providers to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, oversee documentation, and drive process improvements across global teams, ensuring compliant outsourcing workflows and effective partner management.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in a relevant field with significant experience.
• Experience working in fast-paced global teams and managing external partners.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships with service providers and AbbVie’s interests in outsourced projects.
• Coordinate outsourced analytical, formulation, manufacturing, and process-development work packages with internal teams.
• Support project budgets and monitor adherence to approved budgets.
• Ensure GMP-compliant documentation; verify data from service providers; coordinate sample flow to testing sites.
• Collaborate across global teams and stakeholders to align outsourcing activities.
• Drive standardized, compliant outsourcing processes.
