Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate client payroll processing, support ADP RUN software, and advise on payroll related matters. You will manage implementation projects, train clients, and maintain data confidentiality while delivering high-quality service to multiple clients.

Qualifications

• 3 years of payroll experience or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience considered in lieu of degree
• CPP preferred
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly detail oriented and accurate
• Strong organization and time management
• Ability to work under deadlines for multiple clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines, update records, process bonuses or severance, review tax calculations, reconcile deposits and withholdings
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment
• Establish strong client relationships by consulting on payroll-related matters
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and communicate information clearly
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team and interview clients to understand payroll needs
• Manage new client implementation projects ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
• Train clients on payroll processes as necessary
• Preserve product knowledge on ADP software platforms and stay updated on related laws
