Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll professional to manage client payroll processing, ensure accuracy, and provide excellent service across multiple client engagements. The role emphasizes ADP RUN experience, implementing payroll solutions, and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of tax rules.

You will interact with clients to understand payroll needs, support implementation projects, and train clients on payroll processes while upholding data confidentiality and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organization, time management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their specific payroll system and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines including updating employee records, calculating/paying bonuses or severance, reviewing tax calculations, and reconciling payroll deposits and withholdings.
• Establish strong and trusted client relationships by effectively consulting on payroll matters and maintaining confidentiality of employee data.
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team; interview clients to understand payroll needs; manage new client implementation projects and train clients on payroll processes.
• Be a resource to new hires and staff; provide feedback and help develop team capabilities; share insights and maintain knowledge of ADP software platforms.
• Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll practices and laws.
