Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 6 to 9 years of accounting experience.
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor and lead staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Extensive knowledge of general accounting practices.
• Proficient in accounting research techniques and sources.
• Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level accounting services to various client organizations
• Provides superior service to clients
• Plans engagements and manages jobs
• Reviews client financial statements
• Evaluates and mentors staff
• Assigns Accounting Services staff tasks and responsibilities
• Acts as resource to staff for accounting related questions; provides training to new employees on basic accounting
• Contributes to firm's mission and acts as a technical resource for others in the firm
• Provides value-added services by seeking out and developing meaningful business advisory comments
• Researches and concludes on complex accounting issues
• Performs other accounting services and duties as assigned
