Job summary

BeachFleischman is seeking an Outsourced Accounting and Advisory Senior in Tucson, AZ to join the SOAR team. The role focuses on meeting client needs, maintaining accurate records, and delivering timely financial reports.

The ideal candidate brings practical accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to manage backlog while collaborating with colleagues across the firm.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting practices to resolve issues during engagements.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, including cash receipts and disbursements.
• Experience or knowledge in Construction or Cannabis industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain client accounting records in QuickBooks or other software.
• Review general ledgers for mis-postings and prepare adjusting journal entries with reviewer input.
• Research and correct account discrepancies.
• Prepare sales and payroll tax returns and 1099s and W-2s.
• Prepare basic financial statements and related reports.
• Coordinate with the client biller on accounting issues and deadlines.
• Prioritize backlog and client projects to meet deadlines.
• Serve as a technical resource and support the firm’s client service mission.
