Job summary

Farmington-Community-Library is seeking a Senior Outreach Assistant to join the Outreach team. This role supports delivery of library materials, programs, and services to residents of senior living facilities across Farmington and Farmington Hills, and to homebound patrons.

The position involves coordinating monthly activities, driving the library vehicle, promoting resources, and building relationships with seniors and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Experience using workplace technology and software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to explain information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated interest in services for older adults and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and assists with monthly activities and programs for residents of senior living facilities.
• Delivers library materials to facilities and homebound patrons; handles check-in/out electronically and vehicle loading/unloading.
