Job summary

EY is seeking an Outcome/Product Lead who will own ventures from discovery to scaled value, coordinating researchers, designers, engineers, and business owners to deliver measurable outcomes. The role emphasizes outcome-based leadership over feature delivery and requires navigating ambiguity with practical experiments.

The Challenger program focuses on AI-enabled services, with teams building reusable tools and transitioning successful ideas to business adoption.

Qualifications

• 9-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Ownership of a product, service, or transformation from discovery through adoption and measurable improvement.
• Evidence of using research, data, and experiments to change direction and prioritize value.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams without direct authority over every contributor.
• Ability to define outcome measures, baselines, hypotheses, and safeguards against unintended impacts.
• Experience preparing operating owners to sustain delivery, manage risk, and track benefits.
• Travel and On-site requirements: up to 50% travel and hybrid office presence.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, outcome hypothesis, priorities, roadmap, and scope from discovery through sustained value.
• Frame problems with users and practitioners, establishing baselines, success measures, assumptions, risks, and a learning window.
• Lead research, prototypes, and experiments testing key assumptions to inform investment decisions.
• Align multidisciplinary partners and manage approvals beyond your authority.
• Partner with Product Insights to measure outcomes and guide continue/pivot/scale decisions.
• Prepare business and service owners to sustain adoption, support, controls, funding, and benefits after transfer.
