Job summary

Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions in Illinois is seeking an Outbound Operations Manager to oversee outbound operations across all shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will implement continuous improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional efforts with inbound, inventory control, and transportation teams.

The role requires WMS experience, strong leadership, and effective communication to develop a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• College degree in distribution, warehouse, logistics, or transportation.
• 3–5 years in warehouse/logistics with supervisory experience.
• Strong detail orientation and MS Office proficiency.
• OSHA knowledge and inventory control experience.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all outbound operations across shifts, including picking, packing, and loading.
• Ensure safety, quality and operational standards and continuous improvement.
• Lead change management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate with inbound, inventory control, and transportation.
• Manage performance and develop team capabilities.
