Job summary

Sandvik Mining & Rock, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools for the mining industry, seeks a 1st Shift Outbound Operations Manager to oversee all outbound operations across shifts, including order picking, consolidation, packing, and loading for carrier shipments. You will report to the Hub Manager and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a college degree in distribution/logistics, 3–5 years in warehouse or logistics, supervisory experience, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience and inventory control experience in a manufacturing or distribution site.
• Proven ability to develop and lead team members in meeting goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and ensure compliance of all Sandvik policies, SOPs, safety, and environmental practices.
• Oversee all outbound operations across all shifts, including order picking, consolidation, packing, and loading for carrier shipments.
• Optimize/improve operational efficiency and performance - Operational cost control, KPI, SOP.
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, systems, or technology within the outbound operations team.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve operational challenges and optimize end-to-end workflow.
• Perform all functions within warehouse operations.
• Support in the execution of continuous improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned due to business needs.
