Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) in Michigan seeks a senior engineer to own the end-to-end OTA software update lifecycle for North American vehicles, including release readiness, deployment monitoring, and rapid issue resolution.

You will analyze vehicle, telematics, and OTA platform data to optimize processes, build automation, and communicate findings with internal teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders, ensuring robust OTA operations across platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science field and 7+ years in automotive software, embedded systems, infotainment, telematics or related development.
Experience with software testing and troubleshooting in automotive environments.
Familiarity with automotive networks and tools; OTA operations, programming, and deployment platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end OTA software update lifecycle management including release readiness, deployment monitoring, and issue resolution.
Analyze vehicle, telematics, and OTA platform data to investigate failures and drive improvements.
Communicate findings with internal teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders to enable rapid action and continuous improvement.
