Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a Sr. OTA Software Engineer to join the ECUs and Applications Team in the Infotainment Development Department. You will validate OTA updates for NA vehicles and coordinate release activities across stakeholders.

Responsibilities include end-to-end OTA validation, data analysis, dashboard creation, and collaboration with global teams. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automotive/computer/electrical/software engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of automotive software, embedded systems, infotainment, telematics, or ECU development/validation.
• Experience performing software validation, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, CANoe/CANalyzer, ETAS INCA or similar tools.
• Strong data analysis, technical documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong time management, self-management, and organization skills.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Validate and release OTA updates for NA Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles.
• Develop OTA validation plans, perform verification, and prepare deployment for production.
• Coordinate OTA campaign preparation, approvals, and deployment activities.
• Monitor deployments, analyze performance, and recommend actions for releases.
