Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an Infotainment Application Developer to join the Production Application Team within the Infotainment Software Department, advancing infotainment and UI/UX systems for Hyundai, Kia and Genesis.

You will develop components in C++/Java on Linux/AAOS, build UI frameworks, and integrate with VHAL/CAN/Ethernet, while ensuring automotive standards compliance and modern DevOps practices. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0-10 years of software development experience in automotive, mobile, or consumer electronics.
• Strong background in AAOS, Linux, and/or QNX operating systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Rust, and/or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android Studio, CMake, Git, and JIRA; debugging tools experience.
• Understanding of Agile software development and the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate infotainment components using C++ and Java/Kotlin on Linux or AAOS.
• Implement UI frameworks and apps optimizing startup time, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Integrate software with vehicle properties (VHAL, CAN, Ethernet).
• Perform unit, integration and UI testing with debugging tools on target hardware.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 automotive standards.
• Adhere to DevOps processes, including AI usage in development/validation.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
