Job summary

Hoosier Energy seeks an experienced System Administrator to oversee Linux computing systems in the OT network and to lead in NERC CIP compliance for the System Control Center. The role coaches and develops OT staff and coordinates with IT and Compliance on evidentiary documentation.

The ideal candidate brings seven years of IT experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong skills in Windows/Linux environments, cybersecurity, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Systems or related field minimum.
• Seven years' relevant IT experience in software, hardware, network administration minimum.

Responsibilities

• Oversees SCADA Linux servers, workstations and peripherals with focus on cyber security and NERC CIP.
• Implements patch management for Linux server/workstation/network to meet NERC standards.
• Assist Compliance to assure NERC/Regional Reliability Standards compliance.
• Oversees System Control Energy Management system infrastructure.
• Plans future activities such as upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Supports control center personnel and corporate IT in critical applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
