Job summary

CTC is seeking a senior Control System/OT Engineer to support Oncor’s real-time control environments. You will provide configuration support, troubleshooting, and subject‑matter expertise to keep critical systems available 24/7.

The role requires 8+ years in control systems, strong Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, network basics, and coordination of outages with multiple teams while complying with CIP/NERC standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Control System / OT applications and environments.
• Ability to understand and resolve issues quickly to ensure 24/7 operations.
• Must adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance activities and upgrades of Control System applications and patches.
• Develop and test code updates before production deployment.
• Review risks and impacts of system changes and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Coordinate outages for maintenance and upgrades with minimal service disruption.
• Collaborate with OT vendors and internal teams to resolve tickets.
• Maintain Windows and Linux server administration tasks including virtualization and security.
• Ensure security baseline compliance and report on compliance/audit tasks.
• Provide tier-3 engineering and business continuity support for control systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation for Control System support.
