Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a technical lead to manage OT cybersecurity and operations support across renewable and traditional assets. You’ll drive program execution, implement access controls, monitor OT environments, and support lifecycle hardening and recovery planning.

The role collaborates with Cybersecurity, SCADA, IT, compliance, and vendors to sustain secure, available OT systems and drive cybersecurity transformation initiatives across the generation fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 4+ years supporting industrial control systems, OT or critical infra.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, backup.
• Familiarity with Modbus/DNP3, SCADA, OT environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, access management, hardening and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT cybersecurity program execution across the fleet.
• Support RBAC, OT monitoring, secure remote access, vulnerability mgmt.
• Develop asset inventories and backup/recovery programs.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, SCADA, IT, and vendors on projects.
• Assist with standards, reference architectures, and hardening efforts.
