Municipal Electric Authority of GA in Atlanta, GA seeks a Principal Engineering Systems Analyst to oversee design, development, and maintenance of OT hardware/software, including SCADA/EMS and databases. The role requires deep expertise in grid operations, time-series data, and cross-department collaboration.

The candidate will mentor junior OT Analysts, lead high-priority projects, and evaluate new OT technologies to enhance reliability and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field.
At least 10 years of progressive SCADA system experience.
Experience with SEL RTACs and Sentient Energy applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure 24x7x365 availability of the SCADA/EMS system and respond to problems.
Build and maintain SCADA/EMS displays and commission points with field engineers.
Administer SCADA/EMS databases and write scripts for data collection and reporting.
Gathers user requirements and supports OT systems across multiple platforms.
Mentor OT Engineering Systems Analysts and collaborate with developers to support SCADA/EMS operations.
Lead adoption of new OT technologies and improve cybersecurity posture.
Perform rotating on-call duties to support relevant systems.
