Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. seeks an Operations Technology Manager to lead site OT functions (Labs, Infrastructure, MES) in Portsmouth, NH.

You will direct a 10–12 person team, own the OT project portfolio, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with global IT/OT strategies. Responsibilities cover system operations, platform lifecycle management for DeltaV, Syncade, MODA, and IT/OT integration, with strict cybersecurity and cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
10+ years of OT, automation, IT or related GMP systems experience.
Proven leadership of technical teams and project portfolios.
Experience with DeltaV, Syncade or MODA systems is preferred.
Strong OT architecture, MES, automation and infrastructure knowledge.

Responsibilities

System Operations: Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant OT operations for manufacturing and laboratory environments.
Platform Lifecycle: Manage the lifecycle of critical platforms including DeltaV, Syncade, and MODA.
Project Execution: Lead site OT projects, system upgrades, and global IT/OT digital initiatives.
IT/OT Integration: Serve as the primary bridge linking OT systems with enterprise IT platforms.
Cybersecurity: Architect secure systems and maintain strict alignment with global OT cybersecurity standards.
Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to cGMP regulations, data integrity, and system validation.
Team & Performance: Direct a team of 10-12 personnel while driving continuous improvement through KPIs.
