Job summary

Nissan is seeking a Master Network Architect (Operational Technology) at Smyrna, TN to serve as the enterprise technical authority for manufacturing network architecture. You will shape vision, strategy, and standards for secure, scalable connectivity across Nissan Americas, partnering with manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.

You will drive adoption of modern architectures, cloud connectivity, and IT/OT convergence, ensuring production uptime and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years overall IS/IT experience.
• 10+ years enterprise network engineering and architecture.
• 10+ years Cisco networking (routing, switching, wireless, security).
• 5+ years Cisco ISE and DNAC experience.
• Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and resiliency.
• Hands-on cloud networking (AWS, Azure, hybrid).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, network automation, and observability technologies.
• Proven experience designing and governing large-scale, secure network environments.
• Cross-functional collaboration across large organizations.
• Hands-on Cisco firewalls, segmentation, secure remote access, and monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern OT network architectures supporting manufacturing technologies.
• Design secure, highly available networks with IT/OT segmentation and boundary protection.
• Own and drive long-term network architecture strategy across plants, data centers, cloud, and OT ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance to align with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements.
• Mentor engineers and architects; provide direction to vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust-aligned networks and address security risks.
