Job summary

Nissan Smyrna, TN seeks a Master Network Architect (OT) to act as the enterprise technical authority for manufacturing network architecture across Nissan Americas. The role shapes vision, standards, and secure, scalable connectivity for manufacturing operations.

Partner with manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity to evolve OT solutions, drive IT/OT convergence, and ensure uptime and cyber resilience. Lead governance and standards, mentor engineers and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
15+ years of IS/IT experience with 10+ years in enterprise network engineering/architecture.
10+ years with Cisco networking (routing, switching, wireless, security).
5+ years architecting Cisco ISE and DNAC implementations.
Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, resiliency.
Hands-on cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, hybrid).
Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, network automation, observability.
Proven ability to design and govern large, secure networks.

Responsibilities

Develop and govern OT network architectures for manufacturing tech (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES).
Design secure, available, low-latency networks with IT/OT segmentation.
Own long-term network strategy across plants, data centers, and cloud.
Create end-to-end solutions spanning LAN, WAN, WLAN, data center, and OT infra.
Set architectural standards and governance for scalability and resilience.
Lead architecture reviews aligning with cybersecurity, regulatory, and operations.
Partner with cybersecurity to implement Zero Trust in manufacturing networks.
Define segmentation, access control and protection to protect production ops.
