Job summary

QTS is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security controls across OT, ICS, and IoT environments supporting critical data-center infrastructure. You will collaborate with Security Architecture, Facility Operations, Engineering, and Technology teams to strengthen resilience and protect BMS, EPMS, DCIM, PLCs, and SCADA components.

The role emphasizes OT/ICS expertise, risk-based decision making, and cross-functional leadership without direct reports.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with OT/ICS or critical infrastructure.
• Experience with OT/ICS technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, BMS/EPMS/DCIM.
• Strong knowledge of OT network segmentation, secure architectures, and zero trust principles.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity risk into business and operational impact.
• Proven ownership, accountability, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of security controls for OT, ICS, and IoT environments.
• Develop OT threat monitoring, asset inventory, and detection capabilities; integrate with SIEM/SOAR.
• Establish OT vulnerability management, risk-based remediation, and vendor coordination.
• Lead OT-related incident investigations, containment, and recovery planning.
• Drive OT/IoT security design reviews for new builds, retrofits, and expansions; champion secure-by-design principles.
• Align controls with frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, SOC 2, PCI) and support audits.
