Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an Engineer III, OT/ICS Cybersecurity & Controls to secure, harden, and maintain the industrial network and control system environments across CMS and BESS deployments. You will own the cybersecurity posture of OT networks in the field and in the cloud, design segmented architectures, configure networking gear, deploy SIEM tooling, and supervise Ignition SCADA security.

You will collaborate with Controls, Software, and IT leadership to ensure sites meet compliance frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field with 5+ years OT/ICS security experience.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP, IEC 62443 and NIST 800-82/800-53 frameworks.
• Experience configuring OT networks, switches, and firewalls in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OT network segmentation and security controls for BESS/CMS environments.
• Configure and harden firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access across sites.
• Administer Ignition SCADA/HMI platform and SIEM tooling for threat detection.
• Develop cloud security and Azure networking for CMS/SCADA cloud components.
• Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and compliance efforts.
