LIPA is seeking an IT Senior Analyst for OT and Cyber to safeguard Industrial Control Systems and SCADA environments against cyber threats. You will work with engineering, IT, and compliance teams to strengthen cybersecurity while preserving safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves monitoring threats, performing risk assessments, supporting incident response, and ensuring resilience of critical infrastructure with a hybrid work model and strong professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Five years of experience in cybersecurity, industrial control systems, or OT environments.
• Experience in utilities, manufacturing, transportation, or energy sectors.
• Experience with threat intelligence and industrial cyber risk management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OT environments for cyber threats and anomalies; advise OT group.
• Analyze alerts affecting SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, DCS, and related infra.
• Conduct third-party risk assessments and remediation coordination.
• Support incident response for cybersecurity events in operational environments.
• Review OT cybersecurity policies and procedures to minimize risks.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues and test OT security controls.
• Maintain asset inventories, diagrams, and baselines for OT.
• Evaluate security technologies for Energy Management and SCADA.
• Participate in audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Track OT cyber threats and recommend best practices.
