Rivian in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen the OT security posture and protect critical industrial systems. The role sits in a fast-growing environment and reports to a Sr. Manager, Cybersecurity.

You will architect and implement protections, develop automation workflows, monitor vulnerabilities and collaborate with Automation to harden control systems, while preserving safety and uptime. This is based in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in OT/ICS cybersecurity or industrial automation with 3+ years OT security focus.
• Hands-on knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, DCS, SCADA, RTUs from major vendors.
• Strong understanding of Purdue model, segmentation and firewalls.
• Proficiency in Python/PowerShell/Bash for security automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure OT network architectures aligned with the Purdue model.
• Develop automation workflows for OT configuration drift monitoring and compliance checks.
• Build continuous vulnerability management pipelines for OT asset inventories.
• Manage OT-specific security tools and threat detection across industrial protocols.
• Partner with Automation and Controls to harden PLC/HMI/RTU configurations.
• Develop automated verification for software/firmware patches.
• Maintain OT asset inventories and topology maps across facility lifecycles.
• Participate in incident response and containment activities.
