L&T Technology Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support OT systems and industrial automation in a regulated manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in OT Controls Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation and PLC-based control systems.
• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC hardware, PanelView HMIs, and servo drives.
• Experience with RSLogix and FactoryTalk Studio.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Spokane, WA.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OT systems, industrial controls, and manufacturing equipment.
• Support design, installation, commissioning, and upgrades of PLC-based control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, PanelView HMIs, and servo drives.
• Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs using RSLogix and FactoryTalk Studio.
• Support Wonderware InTouch, InSQL Historian, ArchestrA IDE, and DA Servers.
• Lead and support facility expansion, utility upgrades, capital projects, and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist maintenance technicians with controls troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Support process development, recipe creation, process optimization, and deviation investigations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Develop engineering specifications, RFQs, and technical documentation for contractors and equipment vendors.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.
