Job summary

United Pharma in the United States, Arizona is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support OT systems across manufacturing processes, utilities, and facility control in a regulated environment.

The role focuses on configuring DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems, leading automation projects, and ensuring CSV, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize operations and sustain system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years (or Master’s with 4+ years) in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV or Foxboro I/A DCS.
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, ladder logic, SCADA, and HMI.
• Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and computerized system validation (CSV).
• Experience with OSIsoft PI Data Historian is a plus.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing, FDA regulations, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity.

• Lead small to medium-sized automation projects and support capital projects.


• Manage OT system lifecycle deliverables, including functional/design specifications, validation, upgrades, and data migrations.


• Troubleshoot control system hardware, software, and networking issues.


• Support system administration, cybersecurity updates, user access, backups, and maintenance.


• Provide technical training and support continuous improvement while ensuring EHS compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
