Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Leader for OsUAS at Wright‑Patterson AFB, OH. You will lead a diverse, multi‑disciplinary team delivering end‑to‑end technical support to the USAF OsUAS Program Office, guiding technical priorities and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or closely related technical field.
• 12+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience in defense acquisition or program oversight.
• Experience leading complex technical teams, mentoring, and cross‑organizational collaboration.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship required to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi‑disciplinary Aerospace team providing end‑to‑end technical support to the USAF OsUAS Program Office.
• Serve as the primary technical and programmatic focal point for the OsUAS government customer.
• Collaborate with government, SETA, contractor, and FFRDC partners to deliver high‑quality assessments and decision‑support.
• Lead integration of experts in autonomy, EO/IR sensors, EW, communications, PNT, mesh networking, LIDAR, and related areas.
• Coordinate support across program staff and reachback teams to enable development, requirements refinement, and testing activities.
• Break down complex tasks, set direction, mentor staff, and foster collaboration across organizations.
• Provide direct technical contributions in areas such as payload integration, autonomy, sensing, or navigation for small UAS.
