The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Leader in Enterprise Systems Engineering to drive hands-on leadership for the USAF Offensive Small UAS program. You will lead a diverse team, deliver end-to-end technical support, and coordinate with government and contractor partners to advance UAS capabilities.

Based on-site in Dayton, OH, you will shape system engineering efforts, mentor staff, and manage complex programs while ensuring mission success and security requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience in a defense or acquisition environment.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and mentor staff.
• Experience conducting technical analyses and trades related to UAS capabilities.
• Proven success collaborating with government program offices, senior leaders, and contractors.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary Aerospace team delivering end-to-end technical support to the USAF OsUAS Program Office.
• Serve as the primary technical and programmatic focal point for the government customer.
• Collaborate with government, SETA, contractors, and partners to deliver assessments and decision-support products.
• Coordinate integration of autonomy, sensing, EW, C2, and other areas for UAS platforms.
• Oversee mission engineering, requirements refinement, and testing activities across teams.
• Mentor staff and align priorities across organizations and stakeholder groups.
• Contribute technically in payload integration, autonomy, sensing, navigation, survivability, or counter-UAS areas.
