Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior Project Leader in Enterprise Systems Engineering to drive end-to-end support for the USAF OsUAS Program Office at our Dayton, OH facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with government customers, and deliver rigorous technical analyses to advance multi-domain UAS capabilities.

Role requires a strong engineering background, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or closely related technical field.
• 12+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience in defense acquisition or program oversight.
• Experience leading complex technical teams and mentoring staff.
• Experience conducting technical analyses and engineering trades related to UAS capabilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with government program offices, senior leaders, and cross‑organizational teams.
• Ability to work with contractors, SETA, government labs, and Aerospace groups to deliver high‑quality technical support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship to obtain clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team providing end-to-end technical support to the USAF OsUAS Program Office.
• Serve as technical and program focal point for the government customer.
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality technical assessments and decision-support products.
• Coordinate integration of autonomy, sensing, and communications technologies across UAS platforms.
• Mentor staff and set performance expectations across multiple organizations.
• Contribute technically in mission areas such as payload integration, autonomy, sensing, or counter-UAS.
