The Aerospace Corporation in Dayton, OH is seeking a Senior Project Leader – Enterprise Systems Engineering to guide multi-disciplinary teams across the USAF OsUAS Program Office. You will provide technical leadership and hands-on contributions to advance UAS capabilities, ensuring timely, high-quality support to address complex challenges.
Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree, 12+ years in leadership, and have experience with government program offices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or closely related field.
- 12+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience in defense or program oversight.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams and mentoring staff.
- Experience conducting technical analyses and engineering trades for UAS or related systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary Aerospace team providing end-to-end technical support to the USAF OsUAS Program Office.
- Serve as primary technical and programmatic focal point for the OsUAS government customer.
- Collaborate with government, SETA, contractor, and internal teams to deliver technical assessments and decision-support products.
- Coordinate integration of experts in autonomy, sensing, EW, PNT, and other domains for UAS platforms.
- Oversee development, test, and fielding activities; align technical priorities and reachback resources.
- Mentor staff, set direction, and foster collaboration across organizations.
