Job summary

GFiber is seeking an experienced software engineer to build and launch the new OSS, oversee feature and service layer development, and coordinate across engineering teams. You will troubleshoot, configure, and support the OSS ecosystem while setting direction for engineers and integrators.

Joint troubleshooting with multiple teams will be part of the role. The role requires a strong background in Java/Kotlin and Python, extensive project leadership, and a track record of delivering complex OSS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of combined experience in software engineering using Java/Kotlin & Python.
• Experience driving complex projects as a Tech Lead.
• Experience coordinating the execution of software projects across multiple teams: architecture, development, QA

Responsibilities

• Build and launch the new GFiber OSS: feature development, service layer development, end-to-end integration
• Be responsible for development/configuration/troubleshooting/support on the OSS ecosystem
• Be a senior person to set direction for and coordinate work of other software engineers and system integrators
• Participate in joint troubleshooting sessions with multiple teams
