Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications organization, seeks a Senior Construction Engineer for a remote 6- to 12-month contract. You will oversee complex OSP fiber projects, including aerial and underground installs, from planning through handoff.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecom construction, strong vendor coordination, and proven ability to deliver on time and within budget. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and MS Project is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in Outside Plant (OSP) engineering and telecom construction.
• Experience with aerial and underground fiber infrastructure construction.
• Ability to manage multiple complex construction projects on time and within budget.

Responsabilités

• Oversee OSP telecom construction projects, including aerial and underground infrastructure.
• Manage full lifecycle of projects: timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Develop and review project plans, construction methodologies, and network designs.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate completion and handoffs to operations.
