Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be located in West Chester, PA. You will be part of the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain Technical Operations Team, leading NPI projects and collaborating across functions to ensure design for manufacturability and cost targets.

This role requires a 4+ year manufacturing background, PMP/PM experience preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Competitive benefits and long-term incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience in project management preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in medical device or pharma industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Sr Manufacturing Engineer for NPI projects within DePuy Synthes supply chain operations.
• Develop project plans and communicate updates to management and core teams.
• Provide manufacturing inputs to design to meet cost and gross margin targets.
• Identify, qualify and collaborate with suppliers.
• Support DFMA, material selection and process development.
• Lead make-vs-buy analyses and site selection discussions.
• Drive overall project decision-making across Make, Buy and Plan.
