Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Sr. Compliance Analyst in Originations Compliance to support the company’s compliance program through testing, reporting, and policy implementation.

The role will aid multiple lines of business in aligning with federal, state, and local regulations and will oversee HMDA, LAR, and MCR reporting requirements. The candidate should have mortgage compliance experience and strong knowledge of RESPA, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, GLBA, HMDA, and related regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 4-6 years of demonstrated mortgage legal and/or compliance experience required.
• 10 years of mortgage lending experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the Company’s compliance initiatives, including policies, test plans and reports to comply with RESPA, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, GLBA, HMDA, SAFE Act and state laws.
• Assist in preparation and execution of compliance risk assessments and test plans.
• Address day-to-day compliance matters and escalate key issues to management as needed.
• Provide compliance support for new product launches and oversee key reporting requirements (HMDA LAR, MCR).
• Coordinate updates to technology platforms and third-party integrations (e.g., ComplianceEase, Mavent, RiskExec).
• Participate in federal, state, and agency examinations and develop remediation plans.
