MDW Associates is seeking an experienced part‑time Senior Orientation & Integration Analyst in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to support MDW's management of a large professional services program for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Reporting to the Contractor Program Manager, the Advisor will help incoming MDW and teammate personnel become effectively onboarded, integrated into their teams, and prepared to perform their assigned duties. The Advisor will coordinate with program leadership, the Transition Manager, workforce readiness, recruiting, human resources, security, quality, and functional leads.
The is a Part‑Time hybrid position that requires concentrated availability during transition‑in and periodic recurring support after the program reaches full performance. The Senior Analyst will support the contractor workforce and will complement, not replace, Government‑required orientation, training, security processing, or supervisory responsibilities.
The Senior Orientation & Integration Analyst may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties:
- Develop and execute contractor onboarding and workforce‑integration activities aligned with the program transition schedule and position requirements.
- Coordinate position‑specific preboarding checklists, required documentation, training prerequisites, and knowledge‑transfer activities for incoming personnel.
- Develop and facilitate MDW program orientation sessions covering team structure, roles, communication practices, performance expectations, escalation paths, and available resources.
- Facilitate team‑formation activities that strengthen communication, collaboration, and integration across MDW, teammate, incumbent, and newly hired personnel.
- Deliver instructor‑led, virtual instructor‑led, and hybrid training through classroom and online collaboration platforms.
- Coordinate structured knowledge‑transfer sessions between outgoing personnel, incoming personnel, functional leads, and program managers while documenting completion and unresolved gaps.
- Conduct transition and onboarding check‑ins, including Day 15 and Day 30 readiness reviews, and recommend coaching, training, or management action when performance barriers are identified.
- Monitor onboarding progress, required training completion, workforce‑integration issues, and readiness risks and provide concise status information to the Contractor Program Manager.
- Support recurring onboarding for replacements and new hires after transition and maintain reusable orientation materials, facilitator guides, checklists, and attendance records.
- Coordinate with recruiting and human resources personnel to improve candidate communication, preboarding, employee engagement, early‑career support, and retention.
- Partner with quality and functional leads to determine when performance findings reflect knowledge, communication, or skill gaps and support appropriate corrective training.
- Provide workforce‑integration inputs to the transition plan, management reviews, risk register, lessons learned, and other program‑management products.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Ten or more years of relevant experience in adult learning, training and development, workforce integration, organizational readiness, personnel management, human capital, or program support.
- Demonstrated experience instructing, facilitating, coaching, or presenting to adult learners in classroom, virtual, and hybrid environments.
- Experience supporting a Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other Federal organization or professional services program.
- Experience developing or delivering employee orientation, team‑formation, onboarding, knowledge‑transfer, or professional‑development activities.
- Ability to organize multiple training and onboarding activities, track completion, identify emerging risks, and communicate clear recommendations to program leadership.
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal, written communication, briefing, and classroom‑management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Webex, Zoom, and comparable virtual‑learning and collaboration platforms.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the security eligibility and access required for the position.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Direct experience supporting NGA organizations, new employee orientation, team formation, workforce integration, or training programs.
- Experience administering a large‑scale training program, managing training schedules or seats, or supporting numerous career fields and professional development paths.
- Experience with train‑the‑trainer programs, Intelligence Community instructional standards, or analytic tradecraft quality initiatives.
- Instructor, facilitator, adult‑learning, talent‑development, or related professional certification.
- Current TS/SCI eligibility and current or previously held counterintelligence scope polygraph.
Education Requirement(s):
- A bachelor's degree in business, education, organizational development, human resources, public administration, workforce management, or a related field is required.
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Relevant additional experience may be considered in place of a specific field of study.
Security Requirement(s):
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens and must be able to obtain and maintain the security clearance and access required to support the program.
- Existing TS/SCI eligibility and a current or previously held counterintelligence scope polygraph are strongly preferred.
- Final access requirements will depend on assigned duties and work location.
