Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Management Consulting professional to conduct organizational assessments of HQ functions, design future-state structures, and support agency transformation initiatives for federal clients. Travel up to 10% and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

You will facilitate executive interviews and workshops, develop business cases and roadmaps, and prepare executive-level briefings and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience supporting organizational transformation or related engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience conducting organization-wide assessments and operating model evaluations.
• Experience developing organizational structures, governance frameworks, and workforce alignment recommendations.
• Experience supporting large-scale change management using structured methodologies and stakeholder engagement approaches.
• Strong facilitation skills with executive interviews, workshops, and leadership meetings.
• Ability to develop data-driven business cases and implementation plans for senior executives.
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills for executive briefings and governance documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organizational assessments of HQ functions, missions, staffing structures, and operating models to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop future-state organizational structures and position frameworks to support agency transformation.
• Facilitate executive interviews, workshops, and stakeholder sessions to capture priorities and build consensus.
• Develop business cases, roadmaps, and workforce transition strategies for leadership decision-making.
• Design governance models, decision-right frameworks, and roles/responsibilities matrices.
• Assess change impacts and develop change management, communications, and stakeholder plans.
• Analyze workforce data to support staffing baselines and organizational design recommendations.
• Prepare executive briefings, presentations, and client deliverables for senior federal stakeholders.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
