Job summary

PacSci EMC, a Ralliant Corporation operating company with facilities in Arizona and California, seeks a Senior Design Engineer to design, develop, and sustain ordnance components and systems. You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Test, and PM throughout the lifecycle, taking ownership with minimal coaching.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree and 5+ years of related experience, GD&T proficiency, SolidWorks expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace or related field considered).
• Typically 5+ years in mechanical design, manufacturing support, or ordnance design.

Responsibilities

• Sustain, develop, and improve ordnance product designs from concept to production.
• Perform engineering analysis and prepare documentation with limited oversight.
• Lead production, sustainment engineering activities.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to Manufacturing and Quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain drawings, BOMs, and PLM records with configuration control.
• Collaborate with IPTs across the product lifecycle.
