Job summary

Core Home is seeking a Senior Order Entry Specialist with a proven track record of accuracy to own high-volume order entries and elevate team standards. You bring meticulous attention to detail, a bias for action, and the leadership presence to guide others through complex orders.

You will validate pricing, item codes, and shipping addresses in the ERP, act as escalation point for discrepancies, collaborate with sales, warehouse and logistics, and mentor junior staff while driving continuous

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in order entry, order fulfillment, or customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems or order management software strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving processes.
• Prior experience training, mentoring, or leading others in an accuracy- or detail-intensive role is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Enter and validate high-volume and high-complexity purchase orders in the ERP system with zero tolerance for errors.
• Own end-to-end order accuracy for assigned accounts, including pricing validation, item codes, and shipping addresses.
• Act as the escalation point for order discrepancies, exceptions, and edge cases.
• Identify patterns in recurring errors or inefficiencies and recommend/implement process improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Communicate proactively and confidently with customers on complex order issues, discrepancies, and resolutions.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve fulfillment issues and improve order-to-delivery accuracy.
• Audit and analyze order accuracy reports at a team level; lead root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.

Job Summary

This is a role for a proven accuracy expert ready to take on greater ownership and influence. The Senior Order Entry Specialist is accountable not just for their own error-free order entry, but for the overall accuracy standards of the team — identifying systemic issues, refining workflows, supervising junior staff, and acting as the escalation point for complex or high-risk orders. You bring precision under pressure, sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and the leadership presence to raise the bar for everyone around you.

Key Responsibilities
