Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Oracle SQL Data Analyst to work in a hybrid role. You will primarily write Oracle SQL and PL/SQL against transactional databases, not traditional BI, with 70–80% SQL development from scratch.

You will independently analyze requirements, determine table structures, develop SQL solutions, automate data processes, and support operational reports.

Qualifications

• Experience writing SQL from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases.
• Strong PL/SQL knowledge (procedures, functions, packages, views).
• Ability to translate business requirements into SQL solutions.
• Experience with operational reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Experience with large transactional databases (e.g., Oracle in CJ or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs.
• Write simple and complex SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases.
• Analyze business requirements and determine the appropriate tables, relationships, joins, and business rules needed to answer complex business questions.
• Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data for reporting, research, grants, and executive requests.
• Develop and maintain automated SQL processes, scheduled database jobs, and recurring data refreshes.
• Troubleshoot SQL scripts, automated jobs, and data quality issues.
• Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented SQL code.
• Support recurring operational reports, KPIs, legislative reporting, and research initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and communicate analytical findings.
• Support Tableau dashboards and other data visualization initiatives as needed.
