Job summary

BCBS Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Oracle and SQL Server databases. You will implement ETL with SSIS, design data warehouses, and lead data initiatives within SDLC frameworks.

The role requires expert PL/SQL and T-SQL skills, experience with data integration, and mentoring of junior developers. Collaboration across teams and adherence to security and performance standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on database development and data integration experience.
• Expert Oracle Database development with PL/SQL, performance tuning and optimization.
• Expert Microsoft SQL Server development with T-SQL, SSIS, and related tooling.
• Strong ETL, data integration, and data warehouse design knowledge.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled data solutions and iPaaS integrations.
• Proficiency with SDLC best practices, version control, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle database objects using PL/SQL.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server solutions with T-SQL, procedures, views, and functions.
• Develop, enhance, and support ETL and data integration via SSIS.
• Design data warehouses with relational and dimensional models for analytics.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Troubleshoot complex database and performance issues in various environments.
• Participate in full SDLC with Agile and Waterfall practices.
• Implement AI-enabled data solutions and iPaaS-based integrations.
• Ensure security, compliance, performance, and scalability of data solutions.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers.
