Qualifications

• 7–9 years of focused business analyst experience on data-driven projects in large enterprises.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL proficiency including writing complex queries and optimization.
• Hands-on IBM Infosphere DataStage experience in ETL design, development and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and clear, structured documentation for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes and requirements to define clear functional specs for Oracle PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere DataStage solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate stakeholder needs into detailed data mappings and transformation rules for DB and ETL.
• Partner with data engineers to design scalable data workflows ensuring data quality and availability.
• Review database objects in Oracle PL/SQL to ensure alignment with business logic and performance.
• Design and execute test scenarios for data integration and application features to identify and resolve defects.
• Document end-to-end business processes, data flows, and system interactions for maintainability.
• Conduct gap analyses between existing systems and proposed solutions to recommend enhancements.
