Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Oracle SQL Analyst to join on-site. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Oracle SQL/PL/SQL against transactional databases and delivering robust operational data solutions.

You will work with large-scale transactional systems, translate business requirements into SQL, and support operational reports and KPI needs. Mostly hands-on coding, with some collaboration with business users and occasional data visualization support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Oracle SQL development against transactional databases.
• 5+ years writing complex SQL (joins, CTEs, subqueries, CASE, analytic functions).
• 5+ years normalized relational database design and table relationships.
• 3+ years SQL job scheduling and automated database processes.
• 3+ years translating business requirements into SQL solutions.
• 3+ years operational reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs
• Write simple and complex SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases
• Analyze business requirements and determine the appropriate tables relationships joins and business rules needed to answer complex business questions
• Extract validate transform and analyze operational data for reporting research grants and executive requests
• Develop and maintain automated SQL processes scheduled database jobs and recurring data refreshes
• Troubleshoot SQL scripts automated jobs and data quality issues
• Create efficient reusable and well-documented SQL code
• Support recurring operational reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) legislative reporting and research initiatives
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and communicate analytical findings
• Support Tableau dashboards and other data visualization initiatives as needed
