Job summary

iSite Technologies Corp. in New York seeks an experienced IT analyst to support NYWIC data initiatives. You will develop, test and optimize Oracle SQL queries against the Production NYWIC schema, and build reusable query libraries for recurring requests.

You will collaborate with DOH staff, NYWIC Datamart team and the application vendor to map data, review regression tests, support UAT, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Experience creating software documentation (functional and technical specs).
• Experience preparing or facilitating testing scenarios and test scripts.
• Experience creating user guides or training materials.
• Experience using OBIEE with end-user interaction.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
• Experience analyzing/improving Oracle SQL queries for performance.
• Experience writing SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Experience eliciting business requirements from staff.
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle reports with business users.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and execute Oracle SQL queries against the Production NYWIC schema for validation and data analysis.
• Maintain a library of SQL queries for recurring requests with varying parameters.
• Assist DOH staff in understanding NYWIC data structures for new reports.
• Assist in developing ad-hoc queries in NYWIC Datamart OBIEE with guidelines and vendor guidance.
• Collaborate with NYWIC Datamart team, staff and vendor to map data between NYWIC and Datamart.
• Participate in review and documentation of regression test scripts for UAT.
• Provide general support for user acceptance testing efforts.
• Work with ITS and Program managers to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
