Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Application Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications. You will lead architecture decisions, focusing on Oracle DB design and Java Spring Boot environments.

Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in office and 3 days remote. Candidate should have extensive experience in enterprise architecture, security, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
• Expert with Oracle Database, SQL, and application/database integration.
• Strong experience designing enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating architecture documentation and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand problems and apply technology to automate and streamline processes.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards for applications, databases, and integrations.
