Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a Director of Enterprise Architecture to set the architectural North Star across applications, data, integration, and platforms, aligned to global components and services. You will lead a central EA team and partner with domain/BU architects to drive strategy and execution.

You will champion an application rationalization program, drive ERP/CRM modernization, and govern major investments while expanding the EA practice globally.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years leading Enterprise Architecture at a large multi-BU enterprise.
• Proven track record running an application rationalization program with measurable portfolio reduction.
• Hands-on ERP/CRM consolidation at scale — Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Fluency across cloud, integration, and data architecture; ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set the architectural North Star and align reference architecture across applications, data, integration, and platforms.
• Operate the hub-and-spoke model with central EA and domain/BU architects.
• Lead application rationalization to reduce maintained apps by 15–20%.
• Drive ERP/CRM modernization and consolidation strategies with BUs.
• Govern major investments via Architecture Review Board and ensure coherence.
• Publish capability maps and roadmaps for leadership decision making.
• Build and grow a distributed EA team across US and international sites.
• Quantify architectural impact for ITFM and next benchmarking cycle.
