Job summary

Delta Dental of California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the People Technology team. You will design, build, and maintain a scalable suite of Oracle-based HR applications, focusing on integrations, data conversions, and extensions across Oracle Cloud HCM.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX, QA, and DevOps to deliver resilient, secure software. The role requires expertise in Oracle HCM modules, Oracle Cloud integrations, BI Publisher, and DevOps practices, with a

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software engineering with a CS degree or equivalent.
Experience designing scalable, secure applications.
Experience with Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Talent, Benefits).
Expertise in BI Publisher reports development and interface development.
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), and Redwood design standards.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support Oracle Cloud HCM integrations and extensions.
Develop, document, and maintain scalable, secure software with best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Open and manage Oracle Service Requests and drive issue resolution.
Conduct unit testing and adhere to test-driven development and continuous delivery.
