Authority Partners in Houston, TX seeks a Lead Oracle EBS Application Support Consultant to provide advanced functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite, lead a mid-size support team, and ensure timely resolution of complex issues. The role requires deep EBS Finance module knowledge, strong communication, and hands-on SQL troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include team leadership, escalation management, KPI reporting, and collaboration with business units.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12, including leadership experience
• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA, iExpenses, iSupplier Portal), Projects, and AME
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture, application structure, and core business processes
• Proven ability to lead a support team and drive service delivery outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for business audiences
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data investigation and ticket resolution
• Experience with Oracle BI Publisher reporting

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor L1/L2 Support Analysts — setting priorities and supporting development
• Conduct regular team check-ins and coaching on issue resolution and documentation standards
• Communicate with End-Users to investigate issues, clarify requirements, and provide updates
• Collaborate with L3 engineers for complex issues and ensure complete handoff documentation
• Own weekly/monthly reporting on ticket volumes, resolution times, and aging items
• Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause analysis or process improvements
• Review and assign incoming tickets based on expertise, workload, and issue type
• Actively handle L2 tickets, incidents, and service requests for Oracle EBS applications
• Assist with Oracle SRs: gather information, document issues, coordinate with Oracle Support
